Your files stay on your device
Every tool runs in your browser. No tool uploads your files, text or numbers.
No accounts
There is nothing to sign up for, so we hold no names or passwords.
No cookies
The site sets none. Page views are counted without them.
No ads yet
When ads arrive, you will be asked first before any ad cookie is set.

Who runs this site

zerouploads is run by one person, Tushar, from Bangladesh. Tushar decides how the small amount of personal data in this policy is used. That makes Tushar the data controller. In this policy, "we" means Tushar.

What stays on your device

Every tool on this site runs in your browser. When you open a file, paste text or type a number, your browser does the work in its own memory. The tool never sends that content to us or to anyone else. That covers:

  • Files you convert, compress, merge, edit or trim
  • Text you count, format, encode, decode or compare
  • Numbers you type into calculators and converters
  • Signatures, images and text you add in the PDF editor

Check it yourselfOpen your browser's developer tools, choose the Network tab, and run any tool. No request carries your file. Some tools download their engine first, and that request brings code to you.

What other servers see

Your browser still talks to a few servers, as it does on any website. None of these requests contain your files or anything you type into a tool.

  • Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any host, it sees your IP address, your browser type and the page you ask for.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views. It records the page, the site that sent you, your country and your type of device, and it uses no cookies.
  • jsDelivr, a public code network, sends the engines that the video and audio tools, the background remover and text to speech need. It sees your IP address and which file your browser asked for.
  • Hugging Face sends the background remover's model and the voices for text to speech. It also sees your IP address and which file your browser asked for.
  • When a tool breaks, your browser sends us a short error report. It holds the page, the error message and your browser type, and never your file. It reaches the site owner through Discord.

Your browser keeps these engine files, so it asks for each one once.

Advertising

The site does not show ads yet. When it does, the ads will come from Google AdSense, which can use cookies. This section will change before the first ad appears, and the date at the top of this page will change with it.

Visitors in the UK, the EU and Switzerland will be asked for consent before any ad cookie is set. Saying no will still leave every tool working.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no cookies. It keeps two kinds of data in your own browser, and neither one leaves your device:

  • Your light or dark theme, in local storage under the name "0u-theme"
  • The engine and model files that some tools download, in the browser's cache storage, so they load straight away next time

You can clear both at any time from your browser's settings.

What we keep

  • Files, text and numbers from the tools: never received, so never kept
  • Emails you send to hello@zerouploads.com: kept so we can reply, and deleted once they are no longer needed
  • Accounts: none exist

We use the emails you send for nothing except answering them.

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@zerouploads.com. The only personal data we could hold is an email you sent us.

You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Children

The site is for a general audience. It collects no personal data from anyone, children included, apart from the emails people choose to send.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes too.
